CITIC Securities Brokerage (Hong Kong) to List Three New Hang Seng Index CBBCs on September 8

On September 4, CITIC Securities (06030.HK) Brokerage (Hong Kong) Limited released a supplementary listing document, announcing plans to issue three European-style, cash-settled R-class callable bull/bear contracts (CBBCs) linked to the Hang Seng Index. The securities, designated under codes 54641, 54655, and 54656, will each have an issue size of 200 million units, an issue price of HK$0.03 per unit, and a board lot size of 10,000 units.

The three CBBCs are slated for listing on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong on September 8, 2026, with a launch date of September 3, 2026, and an issue date of September 7, 2026. Codes 54641 and 54656 are bear contracts with a maturity date of April 27, 2029, while code 54655 is a bull contract maturing on July 28, 2028.

The issuance was authorized by the issuer's board of directors on February 21, 2024. The issuer operates without collateral and holds no credit rating; however, its parent company, CITIC Securities International Limited, carries long-term credit ratings of BBB+ (stable outlook) from S&P and A- (stable outlook) from Fitch.
