Hesai Group's stock surged 8.25% during Tuesday's intraday trading session following the announcement of its partnership with Nvidia for LiDAR technology in autonomous driving.
The Chinese sensor maker was selected by Nvidia as a hardware partner for its Drive Hyperion 10 platform, which aims to enable level 4 autonomous-driving features. This collaboration is expected to strengthen Hesai's position in the rapidly growing autonomous vehicle sector and enhance its technological capabilities.
