Starting at midnight tonight, fuel prices are set to increase across the region. On the evening of August 28, the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Development and Reform Commission issued its latest announcement on refined oil products, with details as follows.
Since the domestic refined oil price adjustment on August 14, international crude oil prices have been fluctuating. The average price over the 10 working days prior to this adjustment was higher than the average over the 10 working days before the previous adjustment. In response to changes in international market oil prices, the National Development and Reform Commission has decided to raise domestic refined oil prices from 24:00 on August 28, 2026. This means that based on current prices, the cost of domestic gasoline and diesel (standard products) will increase by 375 yuan and 360 yuan per tonne, respectively.
Following this adjustment in Guangxi, the price of National VIB standard 89-octane gasoline will rise from 7.30 yuan per liter to 7.58 yuan per liter, an increase of 0.28 yuan per liter. The price of 92-octane gasoline will go from 7.84 yuan per liter to 8.14 yuan per liter, up 0.30 yuan per liter. Meanwhile, 95-octane gasoline will increase from 8.47 yuan per liter to 8.80 yuan per liter, adding 0.33 yuan per liter. National VI standard 0-diesel for vehicles will be adjusted from 7.50 yuan per liter to 7.81 yuan per liter, rising by 0.31 yuan per liter.
All refined oil operators are required to strictly implement and widely publicize the national refined oil pricing policy, ensure clear price labeling, and display the price of refined oil products in prominent locations. Relevant local authorities must strengthen supervision and inspection of the adjusted refined oil prices to effectively maintain normal market order. Consumers can report any price violations through the 12315 platform.
