Comfort Systems USA's stock soared 6.10% during intraday trading on Friday, following the release of its fourth-quarter 2025 financial results that significantly exceeded analyst expectations.
The HVAC and plumbing contractor reported quarterly earnings of $9.37 per share, beating the consensus estimate of $6.76 per share. Revenue for the quarter reached $2.65 billion, surpassing the $2.34 billion estimate and representing a 41.7% increase from the same period last year.
In addition to the strong earnings performance, the company announced a dividend increase of $0.10 to $0.70 per share. Management cited "unprecedented demand and effective execution" as drivers of the results and expressed optimism for 2026, noting "persistent demand and strong pipelines" in their outlook.
