CARsgen-B: First Patient Dosed with Allogeneic BCMA CAR-T Candidate CT0596 in China Registrational Phase I Trial

Bulletin Express10-13

CARsgen Therapeutics Holdings Limited (CARsgen-B; 02171) announced the inaugural patient dosing of CT0596 in its registrational Phase I clinical trial in China. The study targets adults with relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma (R/R MM).

CT0596 is an allogeneic chimeric antigen receptor T-cell (CAR T) therapy directed at B-cell maturation antigen (BCMA) and developed on CARsgen’s proprietary THANK-u Plus platform. Earlier investigator-initiated trials indicated preliminary favorable tolerability and encouraging efficacy in R/R MM and primary plasma cell leukemia.

The current Phase I trial will further evaluate safety, dosage, and preliminary efficacy, providing the foundation for potential future pivotal development. CARsgen also plans additional exploration of CT0596 in other plasma-cell malignancies and autoreactive plasma-cell-mediated autoimmune diseases.

Management reiterated that successful development and commercialization are not guaranteed, and shareholders are advised to exercise caution when dealing in the company’s shares.
