The daily data for the "Liquor Price Index" is sourced from approximately 200 collection points distributed reasonably across major regions nationwide, including but not limited to appointed distributors, independent dealers, e-commerce platforms, and retail outlets. The raw sample data consists of actual, verified retail transaction prices from these points over the past 24 hours, aiming to provide objective, scientific, and fully traceable data on the market prices of renowned baijiu brands. Following the official launch of Feitian Moutai at 1,499 yuan per bottle on the iMoutai platform (increased to 1,539 yuan per bottle on March 31) and the subsequent launch of Premium Moutai at 2,299 yuan per bottle on January 9, the influence of this new sales channel on the average retail prices of these two products is gradually becoming apparent. The daily prices published by the "Liquor Price Index" are calculated using a weighting system based on verifiable transaction volumes, incorporating quantifiable price data into the computation of the final retail averages for these liquors. In other significant baijiu industry news, the Guizhou Provincial Market Supervision Administration recently issued the "Comprehensive Management Plan for the Entire Guizhou Baijiu Market Supply Chain for 2026." The plan outlines a 10-month campaign targeting the entire supply chain, focusing on rectifying issues such as trademark violations, infringement and counterfeiting, adulteration with edible alcohol, exceeding legal limits for additives, false advertising, and improper marketing. Systematic governance will be implemented across fifteen areas, including trademark cleanup, production supervision, quality inspections, OEM licensing reviews, online and offline inspections, advertising management, and intellectual property protection, aiming to shift Guizhou's baijiu industry from simply "selling liquor" to "selling a lifestyle."
