At the recent 2026 campus job fair of Hebei University of Economics and Business, Wang Dawei, a graduating student from the School of International Education, stepped into an AI interview pod for an immersive mock interview experience. "Hello student, this is an AI interview pod. You can have an immersive experience of a real interview scenario..." Inside the pod, an AI interviewer asked detailed questions about Wang's career intentions, academic background, and internship experience, engaging in an intelligent interactive session. After ten minutes, Wang received a comprehensive AI-generated interview report, which included a score and a multi-dimensional analysis of his basic qualities, professional knowledge, Mandarin proficiency, and Chinese communication skills, along with personalized improvement suggestions. "This familiarized me with the job interview process, improved my interview techniques and adaptability, and significantly boosted my confidence in securing a position," Wang commented.

University staff explained that the AI interview training pod is equipped with an AI-powered simulated interview system, offering a convenient and private space for students to practice in a realistic setting, thereby enhancing the efficiency and quality of their interview preparations. This initiative is one component of the "one-stop" employment services offered at the job fair. Hebei University of Economics and Business has comprehensively upgraded its service offerings, establishing five key modules: policy information sessions, consultation desks, resume clinics, AI training pods, and a career carnival. Together, these form a complete service cycle from policy awareness and consultation to diagnostics, training, and experiential learning, creating an integrated employment service ecosystem designed to elevate service quality and optimize support for students.

The career consultation area was fully occupied. Ma Junjing, a graduating student from the School of Tourism, submitted her resume for on-the-spot guidance from a professional advisor. The advisor carefully reviewed her resume, engaged in a detailed discussion, affirmed her professional capabilities and overall qualifications, and provided suggestions for resume revisions, application strategies, and career direction adjustments. "The employment services at the recruitment fair are incredibly comprehensive; they have everything you need," said Qin Yilin, a graduating student from the School of Statistics and Mathematics. "Representatives from Xiongan New Area, Shijiazhuang City, Xingtai City, as well as the Zhengding Area of the Pilot Free Trade Zone, Pingshan County, and Zhao County were on-site promoting employment policies and answering graduate inquiries." Qin obtained a copy of the "Xiongan New Area Graduate Employment and Entrepreneurship Support Policy List," which details initiatives such as vocational skills training, skill enhancement subsidies, accommodation at the Xiongan "Talent Station," and living subsidies for graduates.

On the same day, the Public Service Bureau of Xiongan New Area conducted an activity to bring public employment services onto the campus, delivering job opportunities, policies, and support directly to graduating students. The job fair featured a dedicated Xiongan zone, where over 20 enterprises, including the Xiongan Talent Development Group, were recruiting talent on-site.
