A user with the surname Lan claimed that on the third day after their Alipay account's payment function was disabled, approximately 1.84 million yuan was inexplicably deducted overnight and donated to the "Donate One Yuan, Offer Love, Send Nutrition" charity campaign. The user has been seeking recourse for three years without receiving a clear explanation for the incident. Personnel from the involved foundation stated that the funds were used for public welfare purposes and the donation process has been completed.

This event has sparked widespread confusion and discussion among netizens.

In response, on May 15th, Alipay officially stated, "Alipay properly executed the payment instructions issued from the user's account. Given that the account in question is suspected of being shared with others, the possibility of involvement in illegal or criminal activities cannot be ruled out. Alipay is currently seeking assistance from the police."
