A delegation from the All-China Federation of Trade Unions and the provincial trade union federation conducted a research visit to Tongchuan on June 4th to study the integration of democratic management and business operations in non-public enterprises.
The national delegation was led by Guo Mingyi, Vice Chairman of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions, while the provincial delegation was headed by Gao Li, Vice Chairman of the provincial federation. They were accompanied by Zhao Yaling, Vice Chairman of the Municipal People's Congress Standing Committee and Chairperson of the municipal trade union council.
The delegation first visited the Mingdi Group Co., Ltd., located in the Dongjiahe Circular Economy Industrial Park in Yaozhou District. The group gained a detailed understanding of the company's practices regarding the fusion of democratic management and business development. This included learning about the company's general profile, organizational support mechanisms, primary methods and practical explorations, work achievements and distinctive highlights, as well as its core operational philosophy. The visit also included a tour of the company's standardized system doors and windows factory and its Northwest Testing Center.
Subsequently, the delegation visited the Tongchuan Meituan Operations Center in the city's new district. There, they listened to a report titled "Democratic Management Promotes Development, Party-Union Collaboration Builds Synergy" presented by the head of the center's trade union. The report provided detailed insights into the center's organizational structure, the framework of its trade union committee, the role played by its workers' congress, and the specific implementation of collaborative work between the Party and the trade union.
During the visit, the delegation also distributed summer refreshment gifts and conveyed Dragon Boat Festival greetings to the staff of both Mingdi Group Co., Ltd. and the Tongchuan Meituan Operations Center.
