Fuel Prices Set to Rise: Latest Adjustment Forecast Ahead of September Window

As of September 7, only four days remain until the 18th domestic refined oil price adjustment window of 2026, scheduled for 24:00 on September 11. The current pricing cycle has now passed its halfway point.

According to the latest calculations, gasoline and diesel are projected to increase by 160 yuan per tonne and 155 yuan per tonne, respectively. Converted to terminal refueling stations, this means 92-octane gasoline is expected to rise by 0.13 yuan per liter, 95-octane gasoline by 0.14 yuan per liter, and 0-diesel by 0.13 yuan per liter.

Where to begin

For a typical family car with a 50-liter fuel tank, filling up after the adjustment will cost an additional 6.5 to 7 yuan. It is important to note that the figures cited here are only institutional forecasts and projections; the final adjustment range will be subject to the official announcement.
