Q TECH (01478) announced that in April 2026, sales of mobile phone camera modules reached 41.9 million units, representing a month-on-month increase of 7.7% and a year-on-year growth of 31.8%. Sales of camera modules for other applications and LiDAR products totaled 2.065 million units, down 1.5% month-on-month but up 42.8% compared to the same period last year. Sales of biometric modules amounted to 16.56 million units, increasing 15.2% from the previous month but declining 5.5% year-on-year.
The company stated that the growth in mobile phone camera module sales, both sequentially and annually, was primarily driven by increased demand from overseas customers and the group's continued market share gains. Meanwhile, sales of camera modules and LiDAR products for other applications remained strong, largely due to significant year-on-year growth in sales volumes for IoT and smart automotive applications. The month-on-month increase in biometric module sales was mainly attributed to customer project cycles.
