Kweichow Moutai General Manager Wang Li Resumes Regular Duties at the Group

On May 6, according to a recent article published on the official WeChat account of Kweichow Moutai Co.,Ltd., Wang Li, Deputy Party Secretary and General Manager of the group, has returned to her normal work duties at Kweichow Moutai.

She accompanied Chen Hua, the Party Secretary and Chairman of the group, on a visit to the koji-making and liquor-brewing workshops to conduct a field investigation into the production status of Moutai liquor and to supervise safety inspections.

Previously, market rumors had suggested that Wang Li had been taken away. At that time, an informed source from Kweichow Moutai refuted the claims to "Alcohol Industry Insider," stating, "According to the work schedule, Comrade Wang Li was away for a two-month external training program and is scheduled to return to the company in early May."
