Shares of CHINA RUYI (HKEX: 00136) rose close to 7% during the morning session. At the time of writing, the stock was up 6.67%, trading at HK$1.44 with a turnover of approximately HK$61.66 million.

Recently, the company held its CHINA RUYI × Ruyi Pictures 2026 Strategy Launch Event in Shanghai. During the conference, the management shared the latest developments in its gaming and film/TV businesses, and officially unveiled its AI tools for gaming and the Pumpkin Movie platform. Specifically, the event showcased 27 new high-quality games, covering genres such as SLG, open-world RPG, large-world pet-collection games, and a major new SLG title targeting the global market. Furthermore, the company formally launched an AI agent designed for the underlying asset development of action games; this tool has already been integrated into the R&D production pipeline and is being utilized in existing products.

Additionally, as the company's ad-free subscription platform focused on the film and television sector, Pumpkin Movie concurrently announced its 2026 content strategy. The plan involves launching 100 short drama series annually to build a "small yet refined" self-produced content matrix. Looking ahead, the company's extensive project pipeline provides ample fuel for its future growth. A diverse slate of works is poised for release, including "Johnny Keep Walking!", "Welcome to Dragon Restaurant" starring Shen Teng, and "The Blooming of Thoughts" directed by Jia Ling.
