The average wholesale price for edible oils saw a slight month-on-month decrease of 0.1% and a year-on-year drop of 1.4%. The average wholesale price for pork decreased significantly by 6.9% compared to the previous month and fell 22.3% year-on-year. The average wholesale price for beef registered a minor month-on-month decline of 0.1% but increased by 5.9% year-on-year. The average wholesale price for mutton decreased by 1.1% month-on-month, while rising 6.3% compared to the same period last year. The average wholesale price for eggs increased by 5.5% month-on-month and was up 1.4% year-on-year. The average wholesale price for dressed chicken rose by 0.8% month-on-month but declined 1.3% year-on-year. The average wholesale price for 30 types of vegetables decreased by 6.6% month-on-month and was down 3.8% year-on-year. The average wholesale price for 6 types of fruits fell by 1.6% month-on-month, though it showed a slight year-on-year increase of 0.5%.
