On December 11, the Shuangyashan branch of the People's Bank of China (PBOC) issued an administrative penalty decision against Postal Savings Bank of China (PSBC) Shuangyashan Branch. The penalty was imposed for opening a basic deposit account for a budget unit without PBOC approval. The branch received a warning and was fined 21,000 yuan.
