The increase follows a recent company announcement detailing a new strategic partnership. HBM HOLDINGS-B has entered into a comprehensive, long-term strategic collaboration with BioMap. The partnership is centered on using artificial intelligence (AI) to discover and develop complex large-molecule drugs. The goal is to systematically overcome key bottlenecks in developing next-generation innovative therapies and jointly build a globally competitive AI research and development ecosystem.

Key Details of the Strategic Alliance

Under the strategic cooperation framework, HBM HOLDINGS-B and BioMap will co-establish a new-generation AI pipeline R&D company named MegaStream TechBio (MegaStream). This new entity will be focused on the global market.

MegaStream will integrate "exclusive big data × proprietary large models × a large portfolio of innovative pipelines." It aims to build an AI R&D engine centered on an advanced, integrated intelligent dry-wet lab closed-loop experimental discovery platform and personalized, multi-modal, multi-attribute generative large models.

Focus Areas for the New Venture

MegaStream will concentrate on major unmet clinical needs in areas such as cardiovascular disease, kidney disease, oncology, and anti-aging. Its core R&D benchmarks will be to develop First-in-Class (FIC) and Best-in-Class (BIC) assets.
