Stock News07-20

BEIJING AIRPORT (HKEX: 00694) has announced a positive profit alert. Based on a preliminary assessment of the company's most recent unaudited management accounts and other information currently available to the board for the six-month period ending June 30, 2026 (the current period), the company expects to record a net profit ranging from approximately RMB 10 million to RMB 20 million. This compares to a net loss of approximately RMB 164 million for the six-month period ended June 30, 2025 (the previous period).

According to the information currently available to the board, the anticipated turnaround to profitability during the current period is primarily attributed to the recovery in air travel demand driving an increase in international air traffic volume, coupled with the company's ongoing efforts to strengthen cost control and accounts receivable management, which have contributed to continuous improvements in operational quality.
