Second 'Digital Dragon Cup' Awards Announced, Century Huatong Chairman Wang Ji: AI application works become the absolute mainstream

The second Digital Dragon Cup Global AI Innovation Competition, initiated by Zhejiang Century Huatong Group Co.,Ltd., concluded with an awards ceremony on the evening of July 31st. In his speech, the competition's founder and Chairman of Zhejiang Century Huatong Group Co.,Ltd., Wang Ji, noted that the event's participant count nearly doubled this year, reflecting three encouraging shifts in the AI innovation ecosystem: a more pragmatic approach to technology, with teams focusing on how AI solves specific problems; a stronger emphasis on commercialization, with many teams moving beyond demo stages to show real revenue and clear business models; and AI application works accounting for over 70% of entries, making them the absolute mainstream.

Wang Ji stated, "The first half of technological breakthroughs is nearing its end, and the second half of application restructuring has arrived." He emphasized that the mission of the Digital Dragon Cup is to "discover those who can truly implement AI, helping them move from ideas to products, and from labs to markets." Launched on April 2nd, the second edition of the competition spanned nearly four months, attracting over 200 registrations and collecting nearly 100 works.

In terms of awards, this year's competition featured six categories: Best AI Game Award, Best AI Application Award, Most Commercial Value Award, Best New Talent Award, Best 'Shrimp Farming' Innovation Award, and Best International Team Award, with 14 teams ultimately winning top honors. In the AI application field, the Best AI Application Award went to Shuzhi Intelligence's AI Galaxy, an AI and brain-computer interface-based brain function rehabilitation training platform, providing comprehensive cognitive, social, and language rehabilitation training for individuals with neurodevelopmental and cognitive disorders. The Fisher intelligent drug research and development platform, and the 3D optical motion capture industrial-grade film, animation, and game production system received nominations.

Shengjing Technology's Senbox won the Most Commercial Value Award for its technological innovation and commercial potential in AI home-style games. Haoye Technology's one-stop AI film production platform, FilmAction, and biMetaverse's AutoBIM for AutoPart received nominations. The newly established Best 'Shrimp Farming' Innovation Award focused on the AI agent track, with Tripilot winning the top prize for its agent targeting foreign tourists visiting China, and Kuaiman Brain Lab's NeuroGuard receiving a nomination.

In the AI game track, Zhongying You's Red-Top Merchant won the Best AI Game Award. This AI interactive film game features a total runtime of 600 minutes, with its plot, characters, videos, and audio all fully produced by AI tools. Shengjing Technology's Senbox and Miaojituo Studio's Meow Island received nominations. The Best New Talent Award was won by Jiyin Fundamuse, a platform offering multi-role AI agent-driven end-to-end brokerage services for independent musicians, from work distribution to commercial revenue generation. Youyu Xiaodui's Youyu AI (AI-recognized shared fishing spot ecosystem software) and Shanghai Huitu Weilai's industrial software AI design assistant received nominations.

Additionally, the Moonspire team from Canada won the Best International Team Award for its AI language learning platform, Speechbound, marking the first overseas team to participate in the Digital Dragon Cup.
