From October 19 to October 22, a promotional and investment attraction event for Lanzhou's specialty agricultural products and agricultural industry chain was held successively in Nanjing and Shanghai, aiming to continuously expand the sales market for Lanzhou's high-quality specialty agricultural products in the Yangtze River Delta region.
The event sought to deepen agricultural industry collaboration between Lanzhou and the two cities of Shanghai and Nanjing, and to help the "Ganwei" brand extend beyond Gansu Province and gain popularity in the East China market.
The "Ganwei" brand is a provincial-level regional public brand for agricultural products built on Gansu's unique cold and arid resource endowments and its focus on developing modern agriculture. It has ranked first on the list of China's top 100 regional agricultural brand influence index for five consecutive years, having become a byword for high-quality agricultural products recognized across the national market.
The promotional event focused on showcasing Lanzhou's high-quality specialty agricultural products, conducting precise production-sales matchmaking, and advancing agricultural industry investment attraction. It presented Lanzhou's plateau specialty agriculture advantages in an all-round manner, allowing merchants and consumers in the Yangtze River Delta region to directly see Lanzhou's superior agricultural endowments and standardized production systems, and to genuinely experience the green, ecological, and quality advantages of Jincheng's "Ganwei" products.
The event adopted a model of "dual-city linkage, multi-point display, and precise matchmaking." In Nanjing, it was held at the Nanjing Zhongcai Agricultural and Sideline Products Logistics Center, while in Shanghai, it took place simultaneously at the Xijiao Agricultural Products Trading Market and the Xingfuli Cherry Blossom Market.
More than 20 selected high-quality agricultural leading enterprises and specialty agricultural product operators from the city brought landmark specialty products such as Lanzhou lily, plateau summer vegetables, bitter water roses, and small coarse grains for a concentrated showcase. Large numbers of local supermarket buyers, wholesale market distributors, catering enterprise representatives, and residents stopped by to taste and inquire, and several e-commerce platforms also attended for matchmaking.
Participating enterprises introduced Lanzhou's specialty agricultural product planting standards, product advantages, supply chain systems, and cooperation models through various formats including product displays, on-site tastings, industry briefings, and project presentations. This gave merchants and consumers in both cities an intuitive understanding of the quality and supply capacity of Jincheng's "Ganwei" brand and comprehensively demonstrated the achievements of Lanzhou's agricultural industry in standardization, scale, and branding.
Relying on the advantages of two major agricultural and sideline product distribution hubs in the Yangtze River Delta, the event achieved precise matchmaking between production origins and terminal markets in East China.
Participating enterprises engaged in exchanges and cooperation negotiations with local large wholesale markets, chain supermarkets, fresh food supply chain companies, and distributors, reaching multiple cooperation consensus in areas such as long-term agricultural product supply and marketing, order-based procurement, brand entry, channel co-building, and industrial cooperation.
This further opened up sales channels for Lanzhou's specialty agricultural products entering the Yangtze River Delta market, further stabilized the outbound sales channels for Jincheng's Ganwei products, and enhanced the visibility, reputation, and market share of the "Ganwei" brand in the Yangtze River Delta region.
A relevant official from the Lanzhou Municipal Agriculture and Rural Affairs Bureau stated that the dual-city promotional events in Nanjing and Shanghai were both a showcase of Lanzhou's high-quality specialty agricultural products and a precise investment attraction effort for the agricultural industry chain. Through cross-regional production-sales matchmaking, a bridge for cooperation featuring resource sharing, complementary advantages, and mutual benefit was built between Lanzhou and the Yangtze River Delta region.
The event was jointly hosted by the Lanzhou Municipal Agriculture and Rural Affairs Bureau and the Yuzhong County People's Government.
