Deep News09-04 21:52

Global oil prices climbed on September 2nd, with US light crude for October delivery rising 79 cents to settle at $91.01 per barrel, a gain of 0.88%. Meanwhile, London Brent crude for November delivery advanced 98 cents to close at $95.63 per barrel, marking a 1.04% increase.

The next fuel price adjustment is scheduled for 24:00 on September 11th. While the current pricing cycle initially hinted at a potential decrease, the sharp surge in international crude over the past two days has flipped expectations to an increase, with the upward adjustment margin continuing to widen.

Based on the 10-working-day statistical period for oil prices, this week's significant rally in international crude has pushed the current change rate in international crude oil to 3.44%. Projections now indicate an increase of 175 yuan per tonne in fuel prices. At the current rate of adjustment, gasoline and diesel prices per litre are expected to rise by approximately 0.13 to 0.16 yuan next week.

However, motorists are reminded that there is still a week before the adjustment takes effect, and the final outcome will be officially announced by the National Development and Reform Commission. Below are several fuel-saving tips recommended for your reference. (Source: Wuxi Daily)
