With the arrival of the winter tourism season, Changbai Mountain Airport has fully implemented its 2025–2026 winter flight schedule, operating 20 routes to 21 cities, including one newly added destination.
During the 2025 winter season, the airport is scheduled to handle 354 weekly flights, a 6% year-on-year increase. Six airlines—China Southern Airlines, China Eastern Airlines, Spring Airlines, Juneyao Air, Fuzhou Airlines, and Loong Air—will operate these flights.
The expanded route network now covers major cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen, as well as key tourist hubs like Hangzhou, Ningbo, Changsha, Fuzhou, and Qingdao, catering to travelers from diverse regions.
To enhance the experience for skiing enthusiasts, the airport has introduced group reservation services, dedicated check-in counters, and staggered peak-time processing to reduce waiting periods. Additionally, it offers ski equipment storage to alleviate the inconvenience of carrying gear. Shuttle buses are preheated and equipped with "grip covers" and "snowflake seat pads" for passenger comfort.
As a vital air gateway for Changbai Mountain's winter tourism, this seasonal upgrade not only marks the countdown to the peak travel period but also strengthens nationwide connectivity, bolstering the region's ambition to become a world-class eco-tourism destination.
