At the 2026 Chengdu Auto Show, Xiaomi Corp. presented its complete vehicle lineup, with the spotlight falling on the newly unveiled Pengcheng N90 Max and N70 Max models, which had entered pre-sale just last month. The event also marked a milestone for the Pengcheng series as the first batch of reservation holders took part in a special door-opening ceremony, while showrooms nationwide simultaneously rolled out in-car experience sessions.

The N90 Max, positioned as a large seven-seat flagship extended-range SUV, is built on the Xiaomi Kunlun platform. The platform's flexible space design supports up to six sliding rails across its variants, with the N90 Max featuring the longest rail at 1,938mm. Both the second and third rows offer a 900mm sliding range. When the second-row seats are pushed fully rearward, passenger legroom expands to a maximum of 1,550mm, while sliding them fully forward extends the trunk capacity to an impressive 1,831 liters.

On the performance front, the N90 Max is equipped with a 76kWh ternary lithium battery pack, delivering a CLTC pure-electric range of 464km and a combined CLTC range of 1,705km. Fast charging adds up to 285km of CLTC range in just 15 minutes, and the vehicle maintains a fuel consumption of only 6.26 liters per 100km under depleted battery conditions. Safety features include an armored cage-style steel-aluminum hybrid body, with high-strength steel and aluminum accounting for 90.4% of the structure, along with 12 standard airbags. The Xiaomi Dragon Armor battery incorporates 16 layers of thermal protection. Additionally, the door handles feature a triple-redundant design, and the vehicle supports a wading depth of up to 750mm. As of June 30, Xiaomi Pengcheng had deployed 566 test vehicles, accumulating over 4.28 million kilometers of real-world road testing.

The N70 Max targets the large five-seat extended-range SUV segment, also leveraging the Kunlun platform. It features a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system delivering a peak power of 310kW, enabling a 0-100km/h sprint in 5.5 seconds. The model offers a maximum CLTC pure-electric range of 505km and a combined CLTC range of 1,461km. Standard equipment includes the Xiaomi XLA architecture, a 700TOPS Thor computing chip, forward-facing LiDAR, 4D millimeter-wave radar, and ALD-coated high-definition cameras, among other advanced hardware and software configurations.
