Dingdong Expands Fresh, Convenient Meal Range, Anticipates Annual Sales Surge Exceeding 85%

Dingdong (Cayman) Limited has recently launched a new "Fresh Convenient Meals" product line, with over 50 items currently available and plans to expand the range to 80-100 products by the end of June.

According to official data, sales of these fresh convenient meals grew by more than 70% year-over-year from January to May this year, with the overall growth rate continuing to accelerate. The company forecasts that the full-year sales for this category in 2026 will increase by over 85% compared to the previous year.

In contrast to the mainstream -18°C deep-frozen prepared meals commonly found in the market, Dingdong's fresh convenient meals are specifically designed for home dining as short-shelf-life, refrigerated, ready-to-cook semi-prepared dishes. The series emphasizes "produced, shelved, and cooked fresh on the same day," aiming to preserve the original texture, moisture, and nutritional value of the ingredients to the greatest extent, achieving a quality close to that of freshly purchased and prepared produce.
