On August 25, Beijing time, American entrepreneur Elon Musk's mother, Maye Musk, shared photos of her trip to Shanghai on social media, captioning them, "Day two in Shanghai, shopping, dining, sightseeing." Musk quickly commented on the post, using the opportunity to promote the city, saying, "Shanghai is a fantastic city, highly recommend a visit."

Last week, the 78-year-old Maye Musk flew to Shanghai for her second trip to China in less than five months. In an interview with the media, she noted that China's pace of development continues to surprise her with each visit.

Interestingly, this is not the first time Musk has praised China. Earlier this month, on the 11th, he wrote on social media, "China is amazing. I strongly encourage everyone to go see it." Maye Musk subsequently quoted Musk's post, adding, "I agree. Every city in China has its own unique charm, with different cultural attractions to explore. The buildings and streets are clean, tidy, and well-maintained. At the same time, the people are polite, hardworking, and respectful. I feel safe in China, so I truly enjoy traveling there."

Recent surveys by institutions such as the Pew Research Center in the United States indicate that international public opinion toward China has been steadily improving.
