Taoyuan County Enhances Teachers' AI Integration Skills in Digital Education

To keep pace with the digital transformation of education and address the challenges of integrating AI technology into subject teaching, Taoyuan County successfully conducted a specialized training program on December 6, 2025, aimed at improving teachers' digital education capabilities. Held at Zhangjiang Primary School’s High-Tech Zone Branch, the event focused on "Practical AI Skills in Teaching," addressing real-world classroom needs.

Professor Jiang Chen, a leading expert in educational AI from Peking University’s School of Electronics Engineering and Computer Science, delivered the training. With 15 years of experience in AI applications for education, Professor Chen provided systematic instruction on core AI tools, operational logic, application boundaries, and cross-disciplinary case studies. Through live demonstrations and hands-on guidance, he translated complex AI concepts into actionable teaching methods, bridging knowledge gaps and overcoming practical barriers in digital education.

The training adopted an innovative dual-track format, combining in-person sessions with live online streaming. Over 300 participants, including teaching researchers, subject leaders, and outstanding educators, attended in person, while many more joined remotely, ensuring broad access to high-quality training resources.

Participants praised the program for its practical relevance, noting significant gains in AI tool proficiency and digital teaching innovation. Many expressed plans to integrate these skills into daily instruction, leveraging smart technology to enhance classroom efficiency and contribute to Taoyuan County’s educational advancement.
