Bilibili has released its 2025 Environmental, Social and Governance Report, outlining operational achievements, creator economics, environmental progress and social investment.
Operating Metrics • Daily active users climbed 8% year-on-year to 112 million, while monthly active users reached 368 million. • Average daily time spent advanced to 108 minutes, lifting total user time by 14%. • Official members rose 10% to 284 million, and negative feedback on advertising content fell 56%.
Creator Ecosystem • About 4 million creators were active each month, uploading 24 million videos (+15%). • Nearly 3 million creators earned income on the platform, driving a 21% rise in average creator revenue. • Creator cohorts with 1 thousand to 1 million followers all expanded by more than 20%.
Human Capital • Total headcount stood at 8,423, with women representing 44% of the workforce. • All full-time employees are covered by the company’s welfare system; 5,803 employees have joined the mutual-aid “Love Live” programme.
Environmental Performance • Average annual power usage effectiveness (PUE) at leased core data centres improved to 1.22. • Environmental, low-carbon and waste-sorting videos generated 23.40 billion views. • Comprehensive energy consumption totalled 1,462 tce, equating to 0.05 tce per million yuan of revenue; scope-2 emissions were 6,315 tCO₂e.
Governance & Data Security • Zero material data breaches or privacy-related complaints were recorded, and 100% of external partners signed data-security agreements. • All employees have signed anti-corruption and anti-fraud commitments; the same pledge applies to 100% of suppliers.
Social Investment • Bilibili’s charity platform has raised more than RMB 37.00 million across 115 projects, with 1.35 million user donations. • Eight rural primary schools supported by the company serve 7,647 students; the Happy Scholarship disbursed RMB 1.43 million in 2025.
Supply Chain • The group worked with 11,611 suppliers—90% in mainland China—and requires business-ethics commitments from all counterparties.
Awards • External recognition during the year included MIT Technology Review’s “50 Smartest Companies”, KANTAR’s “Top 100 Most Valuable Chinese Brands” and multiple Extel best-ESG honours.
The board emphasised continued focus on high-quality content, creator income diversification and tighter ESG governance as core priorities for sustainable growth.
