British Prime Minister Keir Starmer has reiterated in an interview his intention to lead the Labour Party into the next general election, pledging to "turn things around."
When questioned about the possibility of a leadership election, Starmer stated, "I am not going anywhere. I don't think we should be plunging the country into the chaos of a leadership election."
He added, however, that if a leadership contest were to arise, he would "fight it."
Starmer also noted that defense is the government's current "number one priority."
