Samudera Shipping Line Ltd announced on Apr, 8 2026 the introduction of a new weekly Korea-Japan Shuttle service that will link Nagoya and Kobe in Japan with Busan in South Korea.

The service, set to commence within April 2026, marks the company’s entry into the Korea-Japan trade lane and extends its intra-Asia network further into Northeast Asia. According to Group CEO Bani Mulia, committed cargo volumes have already been secured, supporting schedule integrity and reliability for customers.

Samudera said the new route was initiated in response to customer demand for dependable feeder connections between the two markets. The company will monitor volumes to assess potential long-term opportunities on the corridor.

Headquartered and listed in Singapore, Samudera Shipping Line provides feeder services across Southeast Asia, the Indian Subcontinent, the Far East and the Middle East, and is also active in bulk, tanker and logistics businesses.
