Deep News08-15

Residents of Guangzhou have a new destination to explore. According to the Tianhe district government, the Guangzhou Music Park is scheduled to officially open on August 25th. This new performance space, located in the heart of the city, will add a vibrant urban landmark to Tianhe that integrates sports, music, trends, exhibitions, and markets into a single, multi-functional hub.

Situated at the South Square of the Guangdong Olympic Sports Center, the park lies within the core zone of the Tianhe Olympic Sports Culture and Event Performance Demonstration Area. Its location offers significant advantages, with direct metro access via Exit D at Huangcun Station on Lines 4 and 21. The project spans a total area of 100,000 square meters, making it a rare large-scale, multi-functional cultural space in central Guangzhou.

Ample Space for Diverse Events

As a new urban landmark blending various business types, the Guangzhou Music Park is packed with highlights. It features both open, comfortable park leisure areas and professional-grade performance and exhibition venues. These include a 10,000-square-meter super-large stage performance area, a 14,000-square-meter commercial operations zone, and a 3,000-square-meter auxiliary stage tent space. The park is divided into four main zones: the green park area, the commercial operations area, the large stage area, and the multi-functional complex area. It can accommodate large-scale performances with up to 50,000 attendees and various exhibition activities.

Exciting Opening Events and Star Performances

The park's first phase will launch a Cantonese pop music season. In the future, the venue will host a variety of trendy cultural events, including medium-to-large music festivals, beer festivals, and anime expos. This initiative aims to continually energize the city's cultural life and establish a music and cultural brand with Guangzhou characteristics and influence across the Greater Bay Area.
