On December 29, Kang Fengwei, Assistant General Manager of State Energy Investment Group, along with Song Zongying, a Distinguished Engineer in transportation, and Xu Huayu, Manager of the Transport Division of the Coal Transport Department, visited China Railway Signal & Communication Corporation (CRSC).
Lou Qiliang, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of CRSC, held in-depth discussions with the visitors on topics including smart railway transport and the empowerment of railways by the low-altitude economy.
Li Lianqing, a member of the Party Standing Committee and Chief Accountant of CRSC, also participated in the meeting.
Lou Qiliang extended a welcome to the visiting delegation from State Energy Investment Group and reviewed the positive progress made in innovative cooperation between the two sides in recent years.
He stated that CRSC and State Energy Investment Group have already conducted practical cooperation in areas such as integrated heavy-haul railway dispatching and group operation, achieving good results in the initial phase of collaborative innovation.
Lou Qiliang emphasized the hope for both parties to continuously deepen their cooperation mechanisms, jointly advance technology co-development, project co-construction, and talent sharing, and collectively build a new ecosystem for smart energy transportation.
Kang Fengwei expressed gratitude for the warm reception and long-term support from CRSC and gave full affirmation to the phased achievements attained through their collaboration.
He pointed out that State Energy Investment Group is fully implementing an innovation-driven development strategy, accelerating the digital and intelligent transformation of its transport industry, and is willing to further leverage the technical strengths of both sides to jointly promote the intelligent and green development of heavy-haul railways.
Prior to the meeting, accompanied by Li Lianqing, Kang Fengwei and his delegation conducted an on-site visit to the CRSC Train Operation Control System Laboratory.
They received explanations and demonstrations on the heavy-haul railway integrated dispatching system and the train control system, gaining a deep understanding of CRSC's R&D capabilities and innovative achievements in the field of heavy-haul railway operation control.
Principal leaders from the CRSC Science, Technology Innovation & Informatization Department and the Research & Design Institute Group, along with responsible persons from relevant departments, attended the meeting.
