According to reports, Meta Platforms, Inc. CEO Mark Zuckerberg has stated that the development of AI agents over the past four months "has not accelerated in the way we expected."

Zuckerberg further commented that the company's restructuring efforts, which included large-scale layoffs, could have been handled more "cleanly," and that the company's bet on a new organizational architecture "has not paid off yet."
