Xiaomi founder Lei Jun today shared a teardown video of the Xiaomi YU7 and stated that Xiaomi Auto aims to create the best-driving pure electric SUV with outstanding handling performance.
He noted that as Xiaomi's first SUV, the YU7 features a full-series fixed caliper and a redundant design with a four-layer braking system for its braking performance. For the suspension, the front suspension adopts a double-wishbone structure and the rear suspension uses a five-link setup, which have been continuously tuned to achieve an excellent balance of both comfort and handling.
