Butong Group conducts minor on-market repurchase, adding 200 shares to treasury at HK$51.50

Butong Group disclosed in its Next Day Disclosure Return dated 31 March 2026 that it repurchased 200 ordinary shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange the same day. All 200 shares have been retained as treasury stock.

The shares were bought at a single clearing price of HK$51.50, bringing total consideration to HK$10,300. The volume equates to 0.0002 % of the company’s 90.29 million issued shares (excluding treasury shares) prior to the transaction.

Following the purchase, the issued share count (excluding treasury shares) declined marginally to 90.29 million, while treasury shares increased to 0.47 million. The total issued share capital remained unchanged at 90.75 million shares.

The buyback falls under the mandate approved on 22 July 2025, which authorises the company to repurchase up to 9.08 million shares. Including the latest tranche, Butong Group has repurchased 0.47 million shares under this mandate, representing 0.51 % of the issued share base at the mandate date.

A moratorium on new share issues or transfers of treasury shares is in effect until 30 April 2026, in line with Hong Kong listing rules. The company confirmed that the repurchase was executed in full compliance with all relevant regulations and its board authorisation.
