Starting from 24:00 on August 14th, fuel prices in Hainan Province will be reduced. This follows the latest domestic refined oil price adjustment notice released by the National Development and Reform Commission on the same day.
According to the commission, the standard prices for gasoline and diesel will be lowered by 230 yuan and 220 yuan per tonne, respectively. The Hainan Provincial Development and Reform Commission has implemented this change by adjusting the maximum retail prices for gasoline and diesel in the province, in line with the current pricing mechanism for refined oil products.
After the adjustment, the new maximum retail prices per liter are as follows: 89# gasoline will be 8.21 yuan, a decrease of 0.17 yuan; 92# gasoline will be 8.90 yuan, a decrease of 0.18 yuan; 95# gasoline will be 9.45 yuan, a decrease of 0.20 yuan; and 0# diesel will be 7.53 yuan, a decrease of 0.19 yuan.
In accordance with the pricing linkage mechanism for oil and gas, the retail price of compressed natural gas (CNG) for vehicles in the province has also been adjusted. The new price is 5.37 yuan per cubic meter (equivalent to 7.46 yuan per kilogram), down from 5.50 yuan per cubic meter (equivalent to 7.64 yuan per kilogram).
Note: 1. The listed prices include consumption tax, value-added tax, urban maintenance and construction tax, and education surcharges. 2. The gasoline and diesel prices listed are for products that meet the National Phase VI mandatory standards for vehicle gasoline (VI B) and vehicle diesel (VI). 3. The standard products for gasoline and diesel under the sixth-stage standards are 89# gasoline and 0# vehicle diesel, respectively. 4. The listed price per liter of gasoline includes a vehicle通行附加费 of 1.05 yuan, while the price of 0# diesel does not include this fee.
