Hanking Gold International Limited has confirmed CITIC Heavy Industries as the supplier of the single largest piece of equipment for its Mt Bundy Gold Project—a CITIC HIC 18 MW ball mill (Ø7.92 × 13.12 m EGL, 2 × 9,000 kW) with a guaranteed throughput of 688 t/h at ≤75 μm. An initial deposit has been paid to secure the unit, which is expected to enhance recovery rates and operational flexibility versus the definitive feasibility study specification.
Key project developments reported: • Gas pipeline build-own-operate (BOO) preferred partner and route selected; gas transport targeted for end-2027. • Gas-fired power station BOO preferred partner chosen; gensets reserved and contract finalisation in progress. • Road construction has reached the processing-plant site; site clearance underway. • Earthworks for the 258-room camp completed; camp installation has started. • Preferred partners identified for camp catering services, mine-site vehicle fleet (including bus and ambulance), and processing-plant EPC/EPCM; contract documentation is being prepared. • Mining and tailings-storage-facility tender packages are under preparation and have been issued to qualified bidders.
Leadership appointments: • Adam Kinna becomes Project Manager, overseeing on-site construction safety, schedule and budget. • Ben Wang is named Mining Manager, responsible for all mining activities at Mt Bundy.
