Chinese ADRs Gain As as State Fund Buying Lifts Sentiment

China stocks jumped on Friday from near seven-month lows, after the latest fund disclosures confirmed heavy buying from sovereign fund Huijin, boosting sentiment in sectors such as insurance and technology. Hong Kong shares rose to a one-month high.

US-listed shares of Chinese companies also gained in morning trading Friday. Alibaba and JD.com rose 4%; NIO rose 5%; XPeng rose 3%; PDD Holdings and Bilibili rose 2%.
