FourSemi appoints Gao Wenchao, 35, as Co-Chief Financial Officer

Shanghai FourSemi Semiconductor Co., Ltd. (FourSemi) announced that its board of directors, at a meeting held on 22 April 2026, approved the appointment of Mr. Gao Wenchao as Co-Chief Financial Officer with immediate effect.

Mr. Gao has served as FourSemi’s director of investment and financing since May 2025 and joint company secretary since June 2025. The new role places him alongside the existing CFO team in overseeing the Group’s financial strategy, capital management and disclosure functions.

Before joining FourSemi, Mr. Gao worked in the investment-banking division of China International Capital Corporation from March 2021 to May 2025, following earlier positions at Minsheng Securities and Beijing Grandway Law Offices.

Mr. Gao holds a bachelor’s degree in law from Tianjin University (July 2014) and a master’s degree in law from Shanghai Jiao Tong University (March 2017). Professional credentials include the People’s Republic of China Legal Profession Qualification Certificate (August 2014) and Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission Type 1 (Dealing in Securities) and Type 6 (Advising on Corporate Finance) licences.

As of the announcement date, FourSemi’s board consists of four executive directors (Xu Xiaolin, Liu Baoliang, Qian Shun and Yu Bingbing), two non-executive directors (Chen Binglin and Lin Enfeng) and three independent non-executive directors (Liu Hongcan, Liu Liping and Dai Xueguang).
