Tesla Outperforms Other 'Magnificent Seven' Stocks Premarket on SpaceX Merger Speculation and Positive Data

Tesla Motors (TSLA) is outperforming other members of the 'Magnificent Seven' in premarket trading. This follows positive April new car registration data from Europe for Tesla, alongside escalating market rumors regarding a potential merger between SpaceX and Tesla. Speculation is growing that Elon Musk may seek to combine the two companies.

Premarket performance for the 'Magnificent Seven': Tesla Motors rose 2.3%, Nvidia gained 0.6%, Apple and Amazon showed little change, Meta declined 0.4%, Alphabet fell 0.5%, and Microsoft dropped 0.6%.

The Bloomberg 'Magnificent Seven' stock index has increased 6.1% year-to-date. This equal-weighted index surged 25% in 2025, following a 67% jump in 2024.

S&P 500 futures are up 0.3%, while Nasdaq 100 futures have advanced 0.6%.
