On April 22, Yu Hao, founder of Dreame Technology, commented about Lei Jun on Weibo. Yu stated: "Mr. Lei is an entrepreneur I deeply admire and a role model in every aspect! However, the public sets excessively high standards for him—even a slight misspeak, which may not even be considered a mistake, gets magnified and overinterpreted. He is held to an impossible level of perfection."
Yu expressed that he does not wish to be perceived in the same way and acknowledges he could not meet such expectations. He prefers to speak candidly, occasionally using strong language or making minor misstatements, so that people gradually grow accustomed to his authentic style.
In Yu’s view, unless it's a matter of survival, most issues are manageable. This reflects Dreame's proactive strategy of accepting small, controlled risks through frequent low-stakes testing, thereby avoiding the accumulation of major, concentrated risks.
