Data released on August 20th indicates that China's construction machinery import and export trade reached $6.393 billion in July, marking a 16.2% increase compared to the same period last year. The import segment totaled $198 million, reflecting a significant 25.4% decline year-on-year, while exports surged by 18.3% to reach $6.195 billion.
Cumulative figures for the first seven months of the year show the sector's total trade value at $42.024 billion, up 19.8% from the previous year. During this period, imports amounted to $1.453 billion, experiencing an 8.62% decrease, whereas exports climbed 21.2% to hit $40.571 billion.
When calculated in Renminbi, July's export value stood at 42.251 billion yuan, representing a 12.6% year-on-year increase. For the January-to-July timeframe, exports totaled 280.518 billion yuan, a 16.7% growth compared to the same period last year.
