Baotou Tianhe Magnetics Technology Co., Ltd. (603072.SH) announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Baotou Tianhe New Materials Technology Co., Ltd., has recently signed an investment agreement with the Management Committee of the Baotou Rare Earth High-Tech Industrial Development Zone regarding the "High-Performance Rare Earth Permanent Magnet and Component, Equipment Manufacturing and R&D Project (Phase I)." Baotou Tianhe New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. intends to invest in the construction of the "High-Performance Rare Earth Permanent Magnet and Component, Equipment Manufacturing and R&D Project" in Baotou City using its own funds and/or self-raised funds, with a total investment estimated at CNY 850 million. The project is planned to be completed in two phases, with an investment of CNY 210 million for the first phase. The main construction activities will include the facilities, supporting infrastructure, production line equipment, and auxiliary facilities required for high-performance rare earth permanent magnets and components, along with the establishment of a research and development center. The construction period is expected to last for 18 months. This initiative will enhance the company’s industrial layout and is expected to help expand its business scale once the project is completed and operational.
