Following its official announcement in Indonesia at the end of April, TikTok has recently announced the official launch of its lifestyle services brand, TikTok GO, in the U.S. and Japanese markets. As TikTok's one-stop lifestyle service, TikTok GO covers local services such as hotels, entertainment, attractions, and dining. Users can discover content of interest on the platform, access relevant pages, and make bookings with one click, achieving a seamless connection between online content and real-world experiences. It is understood that in recent years, content and usage scenarios related to travel, dining, and lifestyle services on TikTok have been continuously increasing, with a large amount of new lifestyle service content generated daily. The launch of TikTok GO signifies TikTok's attempt to further connect this type of content trend to offline consumption scenarios. In the already launched markets of Indonesia, the U.S., and Japan, TikTok GO has achieved impressive results. Previously, on April 29, the inaugural TikTok GO Partners Summit was held in Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia, attracting over 300 representatives from well-known local dining brands and partners. The Indonesian Minister of Creative Economy also attended to offer congratulations. In 2025, searches for lifestyle service content by Indonesian users on the TikTok platform increased by over 60%, with more than 100,000 bookable accommodation and experience services available, and dining order volume grew by over 20 times. In Japan, TikTok GO offers nearly 80,000 accommodation and experience services, catering not only to domestic Japanese users but also seeing rapid growth in the number of overseas users booking trips to Japan through TikTok. In the U.S., TikTok GO provides 360,000 bookable travel services, with millions of users daily accessing information on accommodation, entertainment, dining, and local lifestyle through TikTok. Industry analysts suggest that TikTok GO has the potential to convert users' genuine needs, sparked by content, into local business opportunities, bringing new growth prospects for creators, merchants, and the community. It is reported that TikTok GO, with the mission of "Discover Great Places, Empower Local Businesses," is committed to becoming a trusted one-stop lifestyle service platform.
