On August 13, shares of LENOVO GROUP briefly surged over 6%, hitting a record high of HK$30.84, with total market capitalization exceeding HK$380 billion. Data shows that the stock has accumulated a gain of over 30% within the month.

On the news front, LENOVO GROUP released its first-quarter results for the 2026/27 fiscal year today. Ahead of the earnings disclosure, foreign institutions such as Morgan Stanley and JPMorgan Chase have been raising their expectations. Morgan Stanley raised its target price for LENOVO GROUP from HK$30 to HK$34, estimating first-quarter adjusted net profit of approximately US$788 million, a year-on-year increase of 102%, which is about 12% higher than the market consensus estimate.

The earnings growth is primarily driven by the AI server business. According to supply chain data, LENOVO GROUP's outstanding orders for AI servers have reached US$21 billion, approaching the full-year revenue scale of its Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG). Institutional analysts believe that the market's valuation logic for LENOVO GROUP is shifting from a traditional PC manufacturer to an AI infrastructure supplier, and this rally reflects the acceleration of that trend.
