Red Star Macalline Group Corporation Ltd. (1528) confirmed that, effective 29 January 2026, Mr. Cao Shu has been appointed secretary of the board, a joint company secretary, and an authorised representative. With this appointment, Mr. Li Yupeng ceases to serve in those roles. Mr. Cao will act as Authorised Representative alongside Mr. Yang Yingwu and will replace Mr. Yang as the authorised person for the e-Submission System of the Stock Exchange.
Mr. Cao, a certified public accountant in China, joined the company in July 2025 and has led its securities affairs department. He brings over 14 years of experience in accounting, investor relations, and corporate governance. He has worked in investment, served in management roles at multiple enterprises, and was previously involved in auditing at PricewaterhouseCoopers Zhong Tian. He has also fulfilled board secretary and capital management training requirements, held independent directorship in a listed company, and holds a master’s degree in accountancy from Xiamen University.
The other joint company secretary, Ms. Au Ching, continues in her existing position to assist Mr. Cao. The Stock Exchange granted a three-year waiver allowing Mr. Cao to serve as joint company secretary while he works to meet the qualifications outlined under the Listing Rules. This waiver may be revoked if material breaches occur, and the company is required to demonstrate his ability to discharge the relevant duties before the waiver expires.
The board expressed a warm welcome to Mr. Cao on his appointment and noted no further changes to the existing roles of directors or senior management.
