At this year's China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS), held in Beijing from September 9th to 13th, McDonald's China took the stage on September 12th to present five key outcomes aimed at revitalizing the offline consumer market. These initiatives span across areas such as weekend spending, technology integration, green consumption, cultural promotion, and community revitalization.
The five showcased projects include the "McDonald's Weekend" offline business platform, leveraging the low-altitude economy to enhance the dining service experience, pushing forward sustainable consumption through its network of 5,000 green restaurants, hosting the "Axis of Light, I'm Lovin' It" themed photography exhibition, and exploring the blend of community renewal and consumption via the "McDonald's Theme Community" initiative.
Commenting on the announcements, McDonald's China's Chief Impact Officer highlighted the company's dedication to service quality as a brand deeply rooted in the Chinese market. "We are committed to delivering exceptional consumer experiences through delicious food, comfortable environments, and convenient service, which aligns perfectly with CIFTIS's focus on services," he explained. "We hope to leverage this open and shared platform to exchange our innovative ideas with industry peers, collectively rediscovering the unique appeal of offline consumption and offering consumers more warm and dynamic service experiences."
He further detailed that McDonald's China currently operates over 8,000 restaurants, covering all administrative regions across the Chinese mainland and serving more than 1.4 billion customers annually. "We respond to demand with great-tasting food, elevate experiences through exemplary service, and connect with daily life through our communities. This allows us to encourage more consumers to venture out and inject fresh vitality into the offline retail sector," he added.
