On August 7, HiTHIUM Energy Storage's base in Heze, Shandong, officially commenced mass production today, achieving a fully integrated chain from materials and cells to modules, systems, and delivery.
The facility represents a total investment of over 13 billion yuan. Upon reaching full capacity, it is expected to produce 30 GWh of 1175Ah long-duration storage cells and 20 GWh of 6.25MWh systems annually.
HiTHIUM Energy Storage Co-founder and President Wang Pengcheng emphasized that long-duration storage serves as a "cornerstone" for the new power system. HiTHIUM focuses on 4-to-8-hour application scenarios, and its products maintain a leading edge within the industry.
The base is equipped with a fifth-generation smart manufacturing production line, achieving an industry-first single-line capacity exceeding 15 GWh. Leveraging this large-scale production capacity, HiTHIUM Energy Storage is set to drive the global lithium-ion long-duration storage sector into an era of mass delivery.
