China Feihe Limited published its 2025 Environmental, Social and Governance Report, detailing progress across compliance, product quality, social initiatives and environmental performance.
Environmental Performance • Total Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions fell 3.70% year-on-year to 0.23 million tCO₂e, driven by full conversion of all plants to natural gas and expanded use of renewables. • Green electricity covered 20% of total power demand, while biogas supplied 29% of energy consumption. • All nine production sites now operate under ISO 14001; three additional plants obtained national “Green Factory” status, bringing the total to six. • Water-reuse rate in production rose to 22%, and supply-chain water use declined 6%. • Packaging materials are 100% recyclable; consumption intensity fell 16% after lightweighting initiatives.
Operational & Product Highlights • Every manufacturing facility holds both ISO 9001 and FSSC 22000 certifications; zero product recalls were recorded in 2025. • Eleven in-house laboratories—six CNAS-accredited—cover 105 testing items; raw-milk self-sufficiency stands at 100%. • Digital supplier-oversight platform now spans the entire supplier base, and 100% of partners have signed integrity and anti-bribery agreements.
Employee & Community Impact • Training reached all 9,040 employees, averaging 55 hours each; workplace incidents resulted in zero serious injuries or fatalities. • Charitable contributions totalled RMB 0.85 billion to date. Over the past three years, RMB 65 million supported rural education, benefiting 3.3 million students. • Emergency aid included 20,000 cans of nutrition products worth RMB 3 million for Tibetan earthquake relief and a RMB 1 million donation toward preservation of the Unit 731 historical site.
Governance • The Board oversees ESG via a dedicated committee; 30 compliance audits were completed in 2025. • Anti-corruption pacts cover the full supply chain, and ISO 27001 certification was secured for information security.
Looking ahead, CHINA FEIHE targets complete value-chain carbon neutrality by 2050, 100% recyclable or biodegradable packaging, and further reductions in water and energy intensity across operations and suppliers.
