The "5G+Industrial Internet" Chain Building Initiative, launched collaboratively by the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, the Key Laboratory of Internet and Industrial Integration Innovation under the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Industrial Internet Industry Alliance, and various industry stakeholders, aims to select high-quality products and solutions through activities such as product collection, testing, and supply-demand matching. The initiative seeks to construct an industrial map for "5G+Industrial Internet" and promote these selections via platforms like the "5G+Industrial Internet" public service platform to foster synergistic development across the industry chain.

Recently, ZTE Corporation's self-developed 5G Industry Comprehensive Tester and 5G Industry Mini Comprehensive Tester successfully passed the product testing phase of this initiative. The assessment covered five key dimensions: basic functionality, operational maintenance capabilities, reliability, security, and industry-specific applications.

Providing comprehensive network quality assessment capabilities, these instruments help improve the efficiency and quality of industrial 5G private network testing. ZTE's 5G Industry Comprehensive Tester (ZXRAN MSE N100) and 5G Industry Mini Comprehensive Tester (ZXRAN MiniMSE F100) integrate functions such as 5G ToB capability evaluation, service simulation, quality assessment, and log analysis. They support simulation testing across multiple industrial scenarios including smart manufacturing, power, mining, rail transit, steel, and ports, offering precise support for the construction and maintenance of private networks in various sectors.

Both products meet industrial-grade reliability standards and support log analysis and end-to-network correlation analysis, aiding in network assurance and fault localization. They are officially used in multiple industries for 5G private network commissioning and acceptance, facilitating efficient and secure deployment.

The ZXRAN MSE N100 adopts an APP+Server architecture, focusing on SLA testing and simulation verification for vertical industries. It addresses key challenges in ToB network acceptance by enabling pre-deployment simulation tests before real services are connected to the 5G private network. It supports the simulation of various typical industry services, related metric statistics, WiFi access, and web-based interface operation.

The ZXRAN MiniMSE F100 features a lightweight modular design with both high and low-frequency network quality evaluation capabilities. It can be mounted on drones to support low-altitude network quality testing, simulate various low-altitude services, and enable remote web-based testing, one-click report generation, and OpenAPI integration with third-party platforms for network health monitoring.

Case Study 1: A steel plant utilized the 5G Industry Comprehensive Tester to evaluate the quality of a dual-transmission selective-reception system for an overhead crane remote control 5G private network. The primary services were video upload and PLC control. Given the critical requirement for deterministic control latency in remote operations, the network needed to achieve 20ms latency with 99.99% reliability. Without proper network assessment, estimating SLA for this key service would be difficult, potentially increasing production interruption risks.

The test focused on evaluating the 20ms@99.99% target for PLC services. A dual-transmission优选 terminal was configured using a combination of 3.5GHz and 2.1GHz frequency bands with dual-link protection. Simulation tests and network quality assessments were conducted. Using the tester to simulate 500w packet load for unmanned crane operations, results showed an average end-to-end network latency of 9.646ms from the crane PLC to the warehouse management system. Under the dual-transmission configuration, latency met 20ms@99.998%, exceeding the required 20ms@99.99% target. This provided empirical data supporting the successful deployment and rapid launch of the 5G private network for crane remote control.

Case Study 2: The 5G Industry Mini Comprehensive Tester was used for low-altitude route health assessment in a southern base park. The test area covered approximately 200,000 square meters. For low-altitude economic services, the communication network along low-altitude routes must support smooth 4K video transmission requiring 25Mbps bandwidth with peak latency below 100ms. A 4.9GHz integrated sensing and communication private network was deployed with RFSP differentiation strategies for low-altitude users.

The mini tester was mounted on a drone to simulate UAV video services and assess route health. It enabled network quality data collection along the flight path and generated detailed health assessment reports with one-click export, providing metrics such as RSRP, SINR, video bitrate, stutter rate, and frame delay.
