Zhejiang Shibao: Controlling Shareholder Ends Share-Reduction Plan After Trimming 1.11% Stake

Bulletin Express07-27

Zhejiang Shibao Company Limited announced that its controlling shareholder, Zhejiang Shibao Holding Group Co., Ltd., has formally terminated its previously disclosed share-reduction plan ahead of schedule.

The plan, unveiled on 28 April 2026, authorised Shibao Holding to dispose of up to 24.68 million A shares—equivalent to 3.00% of Zhejiang Shibao’s total share capital—between 22 May 2026 and 19 August 2026, outside sensitive trading periods. The intended channels comprised: • up to 8.23 million shares (1.00%) via centralized bidding; • up to 16.45 million shares (2.00%) via block trades.

By 22 May 2026, Shibao Holding had sold 8.23 million shares through centralized bidding and 0.90 million shares via block trading, totalling 9.13 million shares, or 1.11% of Zhejiang Shibao’s issued share capital.

Following these disposals, Shibao Holding holds 261.53 million unrestricted A shares, representing 31.79% of the company. The shareholder has confirmed that no further shares will be sold under the aborted programme.

The board emphasised that the early termination concludes the authorised share-reduction window, leaving the remaining 15.55 million shares originally slated for possible disposal untouched.
