Chip stocks rallied in morning trading. Direxion Daily Semiconductors Bull 3x Shares rose 9%; Marvell Technology, SanDisk, Arm, and SK hynix rose 6%; Micron Technology rose 5%; Intel rose 4%; AMD and Broadcom rose 3%; Qualcomm, Western Digital, Seagate Technology, and Nvidia rose 2%.

Optical communications stocks rose in morning trading. Ciena rose 9%; Nokia and Coherent rose 6%; Corning, Applied Optoelectronics, and AXT Inc rose 5%; Semtech, Credo Technology, and Photonics & Optics ETF rose 4%; POET Technologies Inc and Fabrinet rose 3%.

Crypto stocks climbed in morning trading. TeraWulf rose 8%; Hut 8, Keel Infrastructure, IREN, and Cipher Mining rose 6%; Riot Platforms rose 5%; Robinhood rose 4%; CleanSpark, MARA Holdings, and Circle rose 3%.
